  My wife and I come here regularly, for dinner, occasionally lunch and afternoon coffee. We love it. Peter, Sue, Andy the chef and all the staff always make us welcome. The meals are delicious, the steak exceptional, oysters lovely. Our favourite place for going out locally.

  Great Hosts Peter & Sue, always friendly and helpful. The only thing that lets them down is the food. raw broccoli, The coating on the veal a soggy paste, originally cooked but left on the plate swimming in gravy or sitting above some indescribable greens. When will this restaurant learn how to produce and serve food which has a coating crisp and dry. The last time went there I tried the beer battered fish and that was limp on the outside and totally uncooked on the inside, just a soggy mess. The only good thing I received was the mustard and cheese bread as a starter. This coupled with an extremely noisy table close by made the meal quite awful.
